Image hover speed and animation

Hi dear Lay-Team und users!
First, I'm trying to make the "image hover" transitions slower and smoother.
I tried the solution with custom css as described in the forum post here:
Re: Image hover Fade Transition Speed, but with no result.Second, I wanted to ask if it might be somehow possible to add an animation like "zoom out" to the image. Looking for a look and feel like this: https://hawley-fluid-demo.squarespace.com

That would be more than awesome if you could add a way to add animations to the "image hover" transitions! (I guess that was what you were referring to)On my other point, anyone knows why the custom css solution for the fading transition speed has no effect?

mh maybe use a transition on the images themselves inside the container, not just the container
(sry dont have time to do custom css for you :/)

Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself
