Adding a link to an image

how do I add an external link to an image?
I know that to add a link to an image you have to rightclick the image but where do I insert the link I want to add?

@robertar hey man, after you right click the image and click 'link image' a dialog box pops up and at the top you can type in the link address.

@alasdair17 Hi sorry for the slow reply and thanks for your answer. Unfortunately when I type the link (to an external website) and then save it, the image that I linked disappears from my website.
That's weird.
Perhaps that's because Im linking the image to an e-commerce?
Or I have some settings in my site that says I can only link within my site?

@alasdair17 I just tried linking the image to a page within the site and it works. It's when the link is to another website that I have problems.

@Richard @Armin-Unruh Hi guys, could you please help me with this issue on my website? When I try adding an eternal link to an image in my home page the image disappears.
Does it mean that it's not possible to add external links to images on Lay Theme?

hey there! oh really?

for me it worx!

can u do the steps:

1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself

if it doesnt work:

can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?
