A modal/pop up window displaying extra info

Hey,

So, at the moment I am working on my own portfolio website! I have a bunch of images along with some text for each individual image.

Is there a way to insert an, 'open' and 'close' button to display extra info within the Laytheme Carousel caption editor? I'd love it if when you flick through the images and under each image there is a button that you can click which opens in a full screen window displaying a few paragraphs of information about the image which you are currently viewing on the carousel and then a 'Close' button to return to the carousel.

Is this doable? I've tried a few experiments but can't seem to get it quite right.

See if you click, 'About' and how it quickly displays the text and you can then quickly, 'Close' it to return.

I'd be more than happy to pay for this additional development.

yea man i totally want to do this as a feature for lay theme

at the moment its not possible

if you know some javascript, css and html you can do it yourself but yea its a little bit complicated if you never did that

I'm more than happy to pay for this additional development if you had time to build something for me in the meantime. No worries if not and I really look forward to seeing it introduced into Laytheme. Cheers!

hey im working on another project right now that needs all of my focus, im not sure if i can code this in the next month, actually i dont think so. if i can, i could probably only start at the end of next month...

It can be done easily with custom css and a bit of js.
Use one of your rows to put that extra info in. Give it a class style and hide it with custom css.
Put a button somewhere to make the pop-up hide and show on click.

@kalamakumaran hey man, thank you for your reply. Yeah I did attempt it awhile ago and it kinda worked but quite glitchy as my js knowledge isn't too advanced.
