News section tag/categories

First of all, thanks for the work on the theme and for the addition of a "news" section
I would like to know if it is possible to display the article's tag like on this site (purple button below the title) with news section https://www.itsnicethat.com/

Would it be possible to do it with "project thumbnails"? I know that you can show the tags but I don't know if you can configure them this way.
And for the news section: it would be great to also have a "Title space bottom" insert to choose the space between the title and the date.

but maybe add an image, link the image to a news page and add text underneath the image that includes ur tags mmh
