"menu" with the freedom of a "page".
Hope you guys are doing great. While talking with some student, one question arised about the menus on both mobile and desktop.
Would it be possible that the menu button (or the burger menu) triggers a page that we could design separately (like a "page"), with links like for exemple ABOUT/CONTACT/WORK,ETC that shows up like the into and disappear when a choice is made? The page could have other item like contact info, etc... That'd be: A menu with the freedom of page. If that's possible this would offer much freedom when it comes to menu design for mobile, tablet and desktop.
Not sure if that makes any sense to you guys. Please let me know.

@mr-do hey, i've asked for a similar feature here: http://laythemeforum.com:4567/topic/8477/a-modal-pop-up-window-displaying-extra-info
Armin is busy working on another project but hopefully when he has time in the near future he can implement it. I think it'll be a great feature!

look at this:
its a post i did about how to click on an svg icon and go to another page
you need to know some css & html to understand this and adapt this
dont have time to help you more than this atm
its not an overlay though, just a link to a different page
@alasdair17 thanks for the head up
@arminunruh thanks for the share!
I don't answer or check forum DMs, please just post on the forum.
Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. Now see if your problem solved itself
5. Go here, see if your problem is listed here:
When you post:
1. Post a link to where the problem is
2. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
