SET ROW BACKGROUND NOW NOT WORKING

I had the "Set Row Video Background" working perfectly with the cover feature enabled on my site just a few weeks ago and today I've found it to now not be showing anything but a black section where it would normally display.
I've tried using a different video and even a different still image (with "Set Row Image Background") but even a still image won't appear in the browser.
The odd thing is that it appears in gridder but when I update the site and then look at it online it doesn't show in any browsers, I just get a black page until I scroll down to the rest of the content.
I know that WordPress has been update recently so not sure if this is the culprit...
Any help would be appreciated.

@alasdair17 Thank you Alasdair. Not great that the front page of my website, and I'm assuming many others was completely blank for days, before it was brought to my attention.
It would be nice if Lay Theme had a more rigorous testing procedure before releasing updates...

Unfortunately this is still not fixed, if you use images or SVG Logos on a Video Row Background they don't show up until u increase the z-index manually via custom css class ... please fix it ...

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
