Images of image hover don't show

Hello,
I installed the Image Hover Addon multiple months ago and it has always worked fine. Now i checked my website after about a month and i noticed that the hover-images are not shown. The hyperlink, and 'underline when roll-over' of the text works fine as it always did. Also, in the admin panel everything is working like before.
- I updated Lay Theme, Image Hover Addon and WordPress
- deactivated all other plugins, deactivated all custom CSS (I didn't have any)
- deleted the cookies for my website (I work in an updated Chrome, Firefox same issue)
- checked my PHP at the hosting provider, currently at PHP 8.0, recommended setting.
- After all this I redid the whole process of assigning hover image and update the page, deleted cookies, reloaded website. Same issue.

All projects should have Hover Images.
I kind of hope I oversaw something silly and have to apologize for being imprecise.
If more information is needed, i'll reply asap.

im releasing an update later today that will fix this. please then update both lay theme and the imagehover addon

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options ā Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
