Whole website apart from splash page is blank

Hello,
All pages / content on my website are currently blank - apart from splash page content. I have gone through and updated all plugins, flushed cache, disabled custom code but none of these have seemed to fix the problem so far. Help much appreciated :)

i see this error in the console:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Bad control character in string literal in JSON at position 37maybe there is sth wrong with your project's metadata

Before you post:
Use the Search Feature. Maybe there is already a solution to your issue.
1. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
2. Disable all Plugins
3. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes"
4. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
