Overlay with scrollable page in background

Hi Armin! Love the new overlay feature ❤️
I'm currently trying to implement it together with a list that has several links overlays. The overlays won't be full width so the list is still visible. It would be really nice if i could still scroll trough the background. Maybe a feature for the future?
Is there a quick workaround to stop the script to fix the position of the background so it's still scrollable?

also when background is set to not shown, the website will be clickable when an overlay is opened
right now, there is an invisible container still and when you click, it just hides the overlay

oh well :D oftentimes people needed to wait a week or more for me to respond but at the moment im trying to answer almost everyday

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
