Global header like footer?
-
Hi there!
The footer function is brilliant. It saves time and effort. Now I wonder if there is a way to do the same with a header?

On the following page, you can see a orange ticker that is visible on every page. Currently, I have to edit each individual page if I want to change the ticker. So I guess a global header would save me from a lot of work?! :-D
All best

:O yea i need to work on this!
its on my todolist :Dyou can use "custom html at top" in lay options → custom css & html
for now

Up next: global left sidebar, global right sidebar, global middle part! Haha! Just kidding! ;-)
Great! Looking forward for the update!

Btw, I really enjoyed using this plugin in my pre-Laytheme era! :-D
Unfortunately it is not compatible with Laytheme. But something like this would already make things much faster.

maybe try this:
lay options → scroll down all the way
and enable "content filter"

Hi Armin! Thanks for the advice. I did it but unfortunately it doesn't work. Insert Pages is based on shortcodes. Eventhough there's the option to add one into Laytheme it stays just blank.

oh mmh
not sure why it doesn't work

@arminunruh said in Global header like footer?:

Hey Armin, could you please explain this a little more? What should I enter to create a header from a certain page?
-
hey well html there just is on top of every page
html is used to create content in a website
every website is made up out of html, but you'd have to learn html to use it
and then you can show that html based on the page you're on
https://laytheme.com/documentation/custom-css-styling.html#css-based-on-current-pageand hide it on other pages
this requires some knowledge of html and css, i don't have the time right now to write custom code for you
