I've also have a bascket icon that only appears on the main menu, I was wondering if it was possible to make it only appear on the shop page ?

i have never seen this basket icon before!
can you edit your menu in appearance → menu and see if you somehow added a basket icon there?

Also the menu on the left seems to not be responsive on a 13 inch laptop screen and overlaps photos..

i don't see a menu on the left! where is it? which url?
you can apply a textformat to your menu in the customizer. then in "textformats" you can use a different tablet font size for the menu. a smaller one, maybe that does the trick.
in lay options you can change the browser width that determines when the tablet textformat styles are applied:

I have the same problem: after the installation of version 6.4.1, I can not scroll down the main project page and any other. It works one time, but when I go back there from another page, I need to refresh the whole page to make the scrolling work. http://merzmerz.de/projekte/

Sorry, I referred to the version 6.4.1 of Wordpress. I have installed the latest version of Lay Theme (6.5.2). But today I recognized that by deactivating the Full Screen Slider, there is no problem anymore. So is there maybe a problem with this Plugin? (also here I installed the latest version)

uhm not sure? maybe fullscreen slider was activated for your page and there was only one row, so there was nowhere to scroll

thanks for your answer @arminunruh. The problem only appears on the portfolio overview page when you go back there from another, e.g. project page. By refreshing the whole page, it works again. Fullscreen Slider activated works fine. The page worked fine the last months but all of the sudden this problem is on, since I updated Wordpress. So I am not sure if fullscreen slider really is the problem but something in behind maybe?

By the way: in Google Chrome it still worked but not in Safari. So could it be a problem on Wordpress?

ah i see, of course it would have been great if you could have provided these detailed information before. then i could have tried to fix this faster

cause i just opened the link and scrolled down on chrome and thought "oh yea it seems to work, i dont see the issue"

@arminunruh thanks for coming back to me and sorry for claiming! Currently I deactivated the Fullscreen Slider, so the Scrolling would work. I just activated it, so if you try it again, it should show the issue.

Hi @arminunruh still the same problem on the Website... the scrolling doesn't work when going back to the menu site. And moreover in Google Chrome you can not even click something and the starting page doesn't sho up. It is just a white screen that you have to click on to activate the first page.

I go to the website (merzmerz.de), I can click on everything and scroll the pages. When I go to "Projekte", click on a project, scroll through it and then go back to the overview page I can not scroll anymore. That does not concern any of the other pages. It only happens after I was in the project pages. We use Safari and Chrome. With Chrome the website does not load at all.

Moreover sometimes you can not click on any pages. It just does not work. I don't know if all of this is an issue of Lay Theme or Wordpress. I hope you can help. Thank you!

well did you do all of the steps in the blue box to the right?

these errors mean some things dont load

you need to install the plugin simple ssl
to change all occurences for your urls in your database from http to https
https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/

i cant even click on a menupoint on your website because of this issue

does that solve the not being able to scroll issue for you?

@arminunruh I installed the plugin now. Do you think the Pro version is needed? Because the not being able to scroll issue is still there.
On the dashboard of ssl are some tasks still to do. E.G. 301 .htaccess redirection.
