Laytheme and modula gallery slider

Hi everybody!
Wondering if anybody here has experience with the slider "gallery" of the modula gallery plugin.
Overall I can use the modula gallery features together with laytheme, only the slider feature of modula is not working (not showing any pictures, but the structure of the slider shows up…)
Any help appreciated!

maybe if you just disable lay theme's carousel addon, it might work

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
