Hello, i would like to know if it's possible to embed a google map.
Usualy I use WP GOOGLE MAP plugin but the shortcode don't work with lay theme.
Do you have a solution or another plugin to recommend?

This says you can copy an embed code from within google maps.
It is just an <iframe> that you can add in the gridder with "+more" -> "+shortcode".

well i tried the plugin "https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-maps/"
and it worked for me on lay theme. you probably forgot to set the key for the plugin or you used a wrong key. that plugin needs a google authentication key "Google Maps API Key (required)"Good Luck!

Hey, thanks for your answer and my apologies, I was talking about this plugin https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/gmap-embed/ instead, now called "Google Map". I did it with the Google Maps API thing and it didn't worked but maybe I was doing something else wrong. Just in case you want to try.
Thanks!

Ok it seems to work similarly to the other map plugin that I used.
Can you send me a link to the website/page where you are trying to use it?

You have to generate your own API key and use it in the template to get your maps working. More information is available on Google Maps API pages:

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
