Carousel as overlay not working

Hi, when I insert a carousel into the new overlay function, the first image is not visible until I change the viewport size. The caption is visible, but not the actual image. I use none transition.

did you do the steps to the right in the cyan box?

the issue might be that you need to update lay theme and the carousel addon and then clear your caching plugin's cache. if you use one

also can you check, your url here for example doesn't look right

can you go to settings → permalinks

and make sure it looks like this
