Search for individual images

Hello hardworking Laytheme team :)
I work on an online archive with several hundred artworks. All images are displayed on the homepage, next to each other. And each image has only an caption (name of designer). The website should be so that if I enter the name of a designer in the search, only their design is displayed.
I have tried with tag, search, filter function but it doesn't work with single images but only with projects. And I can't create a project for every image. Is there any solution for my wish?thanks in advance for your help

I'd love this feature as well and would pay for it as an extra for sure although I understand if it would be a lot of work to code!

hey there i will rather work on different things that i think are more important :/
@mas and @alasdair17 you may be better off by finding a programmer who will program a custom website for you

Before you post:
- When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
- Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
- Disable all Plugins
- Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"
This often solves issues you might run into
When you post:
- Post a link to where the problem is
- Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
- If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
