after selecting product variation, page jumps to the top

After selecting a product variation on the Single Product Page, the page jumps to the top. Then I need to scroll back down to add it to the cart.

I think this is fairly new. I don't remember having it before.

yea so if a variation has a different image, it scrolls to the top after the variation was chosen to show the image of that variation

that works well on desktop layout with images on top of each other on the left side instead of a carousel.

but yea on phone it should be disabled,
im gonna do that

Hi Armin,

Is it tied to the condition of having images for variations?
In my case, I don't have different photos of variations, and it still jumps to the top, to show the same main product image.
Without something new to show I feel like it breaks the momentum, on desktop too.

can you update lay theme? then it shoudn't scroll up
