password protection for projects is not working!

Hello,
After the last update (laytheme 7.07 and wordpress 6.5.2), all my password protection for projects is not working! This is serious, sensitive data has been exposed.

Any solution?

do you have a caching plugin and can clear your cache?
i have changed the password protection to use wordpress' normal password protection code instead of lay theme's code

please go to lay options, enable "disable ajax / compatibility mode"
at the bottom

it seems that i have missed that if this is not enabled, the content will load if a link on a lay theme page is clicked which links to a password protected page :O

Doesent work when "disable ajax / compatibility mode" and I love the transition pages, and when I return to home reload the cover...

Another solution is posible?

hey i just fixed this if you update lay theme

now it will also work without "disable ajax / compatibility mode"

i still need to improve something but it works again

Ok, now it works, but it saves the password even if I clear the cache under Safari. In Chrome, if I close the app and reopen it, the password does not work, it goes directly to the project.

well now it works as intended by wordpress instead of my own solution

i think what it does now is it sets a cookie and then you don't need to re-enter the password for like a day idk

if you open an incognito window in chrome it will show the password prompt again
or if u change the password

so i had to do this because ppl were telling me 2 things that they wanted to change:

• shortcodes didn't work on password protected pages
• if you go back to a password protected page, once you unlocked it it should stay unlocked

Well, I believe that the effectiveness of a password is that even if you have entered it, it will ask you again even if you go back to that page. This way you don't know if it is working and creates insecurity. Right now I don't trust if it works or not. But it's my opinion...

Sorry,last question if you go back from password input page doesent works well, dont return to the home for exemple.
