Yes, so it makes a smooooth transition. I think it would be a super nice feature as you can provide a more bespoke experience for a project. Maybe you have a video, so it transitions to black to have this dark universe.

Food for thought:
Make a smooth transition between different color backgrounds, so the user experience becomes more immersive.
