  • slide show with various (multiple) image positions and index?
    B bennie

    hi there,
I am working on a new website at the moment and am trying to find a cms/theme to use as starting point for the developement.

A friend of mine pointed me towards laytheme but I am not exactly sure if laytheme provides me the possibilities to actually translate the existing idea. I would be really glad if someone could read the following and state something.

    what am I aiming for:

The website (portfolio) should be based on a simple slide show. Every slide shows an image (or various), a caption related to the content given and counter if possible. By klicking on the image (space) the next slide appears > image(s), caption and counter change. It would be great if I was also able to define diffrent positions for the images depending on the slide.

As there will be probably a lot of content to show I was also thinking about providing the viewer the possibility of browsing through an index page that collects alle the images as thumbnails, but this is not obligatory.

I attached three sample images to visualize the idea of the diffrent slides

    example of slides with index:

Contact details/ Name should stay on each site while browsing through the slides.

I am sorry if some of the questions mentioned seem quite obvious, but I have no idea at the moment in which way you are able to alter the visual appearence of laytheme. Can I set/alter the positions of all the elements through the html/css editor? Is it possible to alter elements like the counter to display "3" instead of "3/50" for example.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Very best,
    Bennie
