EDIT: I have un-installed all of my webfonts except the two .woff2 cuts currently in use + I was off-line for a few hours too (comp reboot incl. etc) and the issue is gone or minimally apparent and more FOIT than FOUT in Firefox but by now my eyes are FOUT'ed up so I'm likely oversensitive haha - anyway - I hope this will be helpful to anyone experiencing font load delays -> Before you go mad unload any webfonts not in use and do system reboot and clear dns cache etc to have a neutral look at font load time performance and behaviour again.

FOUT / Unformatted Text Flashing Up -
FOUT / Unformatted Text Flashing UpHi hi, so I use a custom uploaded sans-serif font / .woff file.
Now in any browser on first website load I get a brief blib of Times New Roman / serif font before the correct styling is applied. Is there a quick WP work around or direct solution via the lay theme itself or do I need some more complex steps to remedy? -
Font Helvetica Neue@tino Same - windows only will display Arial instead of any Helevetica version - not sure why - it can be circumvented by adding Helvetica as a .woff tho i.e. upload it as a custom webfont.
You can convert it e.g. on here https://everythingfonts.com

[SOLVED] SVG Intro Image NOT ShowingWow thanks - if needed I'll give you access as soon as I can - the contents are too sensitive right now tho so cannot do that just yet ;)
As for the settings and overall maintenance, everything is up to date (Version: 2.5.6) and I only have the carousel plug-in which is the latest version.
I also noticed that svg's aren't accepted as images if I'd want to add any via the standard img add option inside the page editor - is that current standard or is this whole thing a rare case of available updates not showing up? I had this issue once before when a LAY update was available/announced but not visible inside my backend until a few days later.
Again, any intro type other than svg works fine and updates immediately. I tried different size values, both absolute and relative, from small to large, but the svg won't show..
Is there a need for specific export parameters when creating the svg in the first place? It opens fine in Chrome, Firefox and Edge tho, so I am at a loss.
Any ideas are welcome!

[SOLVED] SVG Intro Image NOT ShowingEDIT: SVG works (and is supposed to work) as overlay in addition to intro image rather than standalone image in itself. Thought I'd drop that in here as I forgot to close this bug way back ;)
Hiya'll, I don't seem to be able to get the SVG intro to work - is this a common problem? Standard images and video work just fine. Any helpz very welcome!
