Weird that I had an old version of qtranslate.

I'm having a weird problem with a clients website:
The clients website has the newest versions of everything: wordpress, lay theme, qtranslate xt plugin, they are all auto-updated. The website has three active languages, which always worked fine. There are buttons above the headline and the gridder, that let you toggle between the languages.
I tried to edit a headline just now and suddenly, I can't toogle between the languages anymore. Instead all three languages are displayed inside the text area, only seperated by the qtranslate language codes ( like [:en] or [:de] ). Let's say I'm trying to edit the german text (everything after [:de] and before the next language code) and click "ok" when I'm done, the textblock suddenly displays my new text, but also the old text underneath!
So after the edit its:
[:de] NEW GERMAN HEADLINE
[:en] OLD ENGLISH HEADLINE
[:zh] OLD CHINESE HEADLINE
[:de] NOLD GERMAN HEADLINE
[:en] OLD ENGLISH HEADLINE
[:zh] OLD CHINESE HEADLINE
I tried re-installing q-translate and the lay theme, but no luck.
How can I fix this?
Thanks for any help in advance
Caro
Hey!
I really tried anything to fix this problem, but no luck. Whenever I work on a text block it suddenly shows up double after I click "Ok". Lets say I added a textblock that said "Hello!", I click on it, click on Edit so the text block editor opens up. Even if I don't edit anything, the text block reads "Hello Hello" after clicking "ok" to close the text editor.
Which means I can't touch any text block anymore. I can't change any text without the Editor going crazy. Whats the problem? Does someone have the same problem?
All plugins, addons, the theme and WP are up to date.
Thanks in advance
Hello Richard,
thanks for your work. Is it possible to just have this one carousel with circles as the slider option?
On the front page, you can see the little news box with the next and prev buttons that should be outside of the slideshow.
I have several "standard" carousels on the website that feature only images. I would like to add an only text carousel now that has a different styling than the image carousels. I would like the prev/next buttons to be outside the slides, is it possible to add a class to the carousel to style it differently? and how would I move the buttons to the outside?
