For some reason, only the most recently updated galleries showed the mouseover images. So I just updated the mouseover image on all projects and now they seem to work, for the moment. But if you could still answer my questions int he previous post it would be great!

• I installed Surecart to sell a product because WooCommerce was slowing my site down significantly. Could you suggest any way to fix it or another e-commerce service that works with LayTheme? I am selling only one product.
• Unfortunately I need Siteground to improve my site performance. Is there a way to exclude only part of my website from the caching so that the mouseover images work?

I added some new projects to my website (www.chiarabellamoli) today and now mouseover thumbnail images are not working, both on desktop and mobile.
I tested on safari and chrome, I use macOS Sequoia 15.0.1.
I have cleared the cache and LayTheme is updated.
What can I do?

Hi everyone,
Since a while I have been getting this notification on my dashboard:
"Your theme (Lay Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. "
But everything was still working fine.

Today I updated Wordpress and all plugins including woocommerce and when woo commerce is active my website is so slow that is practically not usable.
Everything looks fine when woocommerce is deactivated.
I received this email from Wordpress:

"WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, WooCommerce. "

If I view the affected templates, I notice this:

The Legacy REST API plugin is not installed on this site.

Remote get: wp_remote_get() failed. Contact your hosting provider.

lay/woocommerce/single-product/product-attributes.php version 3.6.0 is out of date. The core version is 9.3.0,

What can I do?

thank you for your answer.
The effect I want to achieve in

settings in > Customize > Project Thumbnails > Project Thumbnail Mouseover is the third "Show mouseover state on touch or tap, tap again to enter project".
What it does instead (even in incognito window and with all third-party plug-ins deleted) is that nothing happens on the first tap, on the second tap it enters the project. But since nothing happens on the first tap, people would just assume that these thumbnails are not clickable.
It is very weird because I contacted my web host yesterday and they flushed the cache, everything worked properly for one day and then today the same issue came back.
If you could look into it I would be very grateful because, as I wrote, this issue makes the website almost useless on mobile...

I deactivated the plug in yesterday and the thumbnails initially worked, but today they do not work anymore.
Do you have some other suggestion about what the problem could be?

Hi everyone,
I have recently finished designing my website at chiarabellamoli.com and for the first few days it was fine.
I have now noticed that on mobile the mouseover images on the project thumbanails on the homepage do not work. The work well on Chrome on desktop.
I use SiteGround Optimizer and I am not sure if the minimizing CSS or Javascript files plays a role in that. If I don't do it the mouseover works (at lest for now) but then how can I optimize the website for speed? Should I use another optimizer?
If anyone can give me a hint I would be very grateful!

Hi Felix, thank you for your feedback!
I agree that it would be better if all the images were clickable.
The best solution for my design would be to have different project thumbnails (with different mouseover images) that link to the same project (for example several portraits on the homepage link all to the project "Selected Portraits"). But I read a bit in the forum and it looks like it is a function not available yet.
If you or anyone else as a suggestion for this I would really appreciate it:)
