hi, I am having a similar issue where my front page is not syncing to what I set it to in the customiser, and is instead completely white.

My page that I want to set it to is https://charleyray.co.uk/home/, a custom maintenance page.

To get around this, I've temporarily added the same copy as an intro in the customiser setting, as this is the only way I can get it to show up. However it's not a long-term solution as I want to include hyperlinks in the copy.

Have disabled all plugins, updated the theme, etc..

Re: Carousel - Numbers as custom cursor shown UNDER normal cursor

I would love to have the carousel on my homepage with a counting number cursor instead of the normal mouse, like https://www.actualsource.work/.

From inspection of their website I can see it is to do with the attached image.

But as I am a coding noob I am unsure how to translate that into the custom CSS section.

Any chance you could help?

Thanks for the code and response!
The code works for some but not all of the links.

E.g. not 'Unsigned 2020' or 'BBH Identity' on this page: https://charleyray.co.uk/design/

I have cleared my cache and re-checked.

It also poses a problem because I have custom mouseover states for a few of my pages.

E.g. I wanted the menu on this project to go white on mouseover instead of pink.

Hi!

I have set my 'Links in Text Mouseover' colour to pink (#f830ff) in the Customizer but it does not seem to work on two pages:

The links vary from being linked to specific projects to different URLs, including a footer at the bottom with my email / insta URL.

Some have an image hover but not all (e.g. not footer).

I'd like all of the links to go pink when the mouse goes over it, so the user knows its a link.

I have tested the link mouseover colour on a specific project:

("TEST LINK WORKS HERE")

So it is working, but does not seem to apply to the Design / About page.

Is something overriding it?

Yes course - it's still very WIP.

So on my 'work' page the menu is black and goes green when the mouse goes over it.

On my 'about' page, I'd like the menu to stay black but go pink ( #ff49e7 ) instead on the mouseover, so it matches the links in the text.

Thanks for a wicked theme!

Is it possible to have a custom colour for the menu point mouseover per page?

E.g. my menu is black on the whole site, but on my 'About' I'd like the menu mouseover colour to be pink, and on the 'Work' section I'd like the mouseover to be blue.

Been looking a lot of past questions / your documentation (https://laytheme.com/documentation.html#custom-css-styling) and I've tried playing around with Inspect function on google but can't see how to change the mouseover code.

Is there a way to remove the tab titles completely from all pages on my website?
I'd like each tab to just be SITE TITLE, rather than SITE TITLE - PAGE TITLE.

Have tried playing around with Yoast but no luck.

Thank you SO much for Lay Theme - it's absolutely brilliant!

I am trying to put a background image across one of my pages.

E.g. having these flowers below as one single image down the whole page, rather than having different images on each row.

I've searched your website / this forum and can only see how to set each row with a different image, or set a background image for the whole website in "Customize" → "Background". Both of which aren't the effect I'm looking for.

Is this possible?

Hi there,

I was wondering if it was possible to have two separate styles for each of my thumbnail grids.

On my homepage I would like the titles to be underneath, however I am also using another thumbnail grid in one of my other projects where I would not like to see the titles under the images.

On the customise setting I can only seem to control the appearance of both thumbnail grids as one.

I am trying to make a home page for my website which is a split screen that flashes between my name and a clip of one of my videos. The closest thing I can find to describe it is something similar to the home page of this http://nice-productions.com/.

I am stumped as the best way to go about making this - my only guess would be to make it on a video software such as Premiere Pro and then save it as a HTML5 to then put into lay theme. What do you suggest?

Then once I have created this, how can I make that page the home screen of my website so when you click on the title of my website (my name in the top right corner) it goes back to the split screen video page, and when you are on the split screen video page it goes through to my work?
