Hi Armin,
I've got the same problem. I've purchased apercu_medium.woff which can't be uploaded (It show's up grey the same way as Margaritas image).
The file doesn't contain numbers, I tried a renamed version without the underscore. I made also a test with other fonts, And I updated Lay Theme.
But I'm still not able to use my own webfonts
