I see you mean news pages? do you know the height of your menu bar? if your menubar height is: 50px you could do maybe: body.type-lay_news{ padding-top: 50px; } or body.type-lay_news #grid{ padding-top: 50px!important; } in the gridder defaults you can also set "frame top" to 50px, but thats for all pages or in the gridder of each news page set frame top to 50px

thats what I thought. Had to reconsider to idea to just combine the normal footer and my news footer content to one footer that lifes on the news pages now. Thanks. Works for what I use it for

Hi CX! Ok, I misunderstood. You are of course talking about the Fullscreen Slider not the Carousel. That the footer destroys the Fullscreenslider seems indeed like a bug. Hm, I can't see the website because it is password protected. Yes yes, well I think you can probably make a modal open itself when you click on something. But it won't easily be possible to show the gridder content inside of it :/. You can extend lay theme a bit with your own functionality but just up to a certain point. I'm not sure if I know what you mean by "WP Pages". If you are comfortable with programming a bit and you want to use the gridder, I think it is probably easier to use laygridder.com If having modals like that is really important to you and a dealbreaker, then maybe you don't want to use lay theme anymore. Then you can get a refund if you want.

Incase somebody tries to implement something similar. Adding background-color: transparent !important; was the only thing necessary to override the background of the footer to make it transparent. #footer-region{ position: fixed; bottom: 0; background-color: transparent !important; left: 0; width: 100%; }

@rsepierre Thanks a lot for your advice!! :) Maybe I got the wrong idea about the „Use Browser hight for row hight“ but it seems not to work for me. I want the Images in a Carousel to fit (80%) the size of the browserhight instead of the with. (As this is an issue supposed to be fixed in last update - could it be a problem with Wordpress 4.7.2?) There is an option for when the fullscreen-slider addon is active. "lay options" -> "fullscreen slider addon" -> "Give elements a max-width and max-height and center them". This only works for pages where that addon is active. Normally, all the element's sizes are width-based. I use a single project Page with a Carousel to slide horizontal. Center Alignedment will only center the elements. How can I center the single column? I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean you want to have the carousel element centered vertically and horizontally?
