Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons Disable all Plugins Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes" Now see if your problem solved itself Go here, see if your problem is listed here:

Did you try with !important?

Like:

@media (max-width: 600px){ .id-18 .navbar {background-color: black !important;} .id-18 nav.mobile-nav li a {color: white !important;} }

When I try with the dev tool it works for me.
