Thanks @arminunruh, muchly appreciated. You two offer great support, makes a big difference to the theme as a whole.

Hey @mariusjopen, don't know if it counts, but "up-vote" ;)

Even pointing us towards where we can edit this manually would help.

@mariusjopen Now that I've taken the 'leap', bought Lay Theme and had a play around with Word Press for the first time I realise that what I was asking can all be done with Lay Theme's multi menu option and Wordpress' positional options, ie. Align Top-Left at position 25% and 50% etc to follow a 4 grid for example.

Maybe I was over complicating my request with the supplied URLs? In any case, all taken care of now.

Well, it's not the answer I was hoping for, but at least I know where I stand :)

Thanks all the same. Time to find a developer I guess!

No chance you'll add this to Lay theme in the future? As mentioned, it seems to be missing altogether in the
world of Wordpress themes. Is there a reason people settle for the basic, outdated layout options of Wordpress' default nav? Is it too difficult to code verses pay off?

—— Apologies if this question has already been asked on here. I had a bit of a search and couldn't find anything. ——

    TL;DR
Can Gridder/Lay theme be used to determine the position of Nav items?

    Verbose
I haven't made the purchase yet and am kind of holding off because I can't find clarification around one feature that's really key for me (from a visual point at least).

This is: Having items in the main nav follow the same global grid rules at the content that sits below. Examples:
    studiosouth.co.nz
    platoon.studio

You'll notice the navs' on these sites don't anchor to the right or to the hard left, or not even to the left with an offset for a logo image. Rather, their position is set based on a global grid.

I'm finding it really difficult to dig up any info on the above 'feature' for any Wordpress related theme/CSS/tool etc. So if Lay/Gridder can't achieve this and anyone knows of another way, please do tell.

    Cheers
