    Hello there,

I currently have thumbnails on the homepage for a site I’m working on with the project titles set to ‘show on mouseover’ for the desktop version. The project titles are positioned below the thumbnails – aligned left. Is there a way to disable this on the mobile version / touchscreen devices so the project titles are always shown?

Also for the mobile menu, I’m using the desktop menu style which has a hover / mouseover effect with a colour change. Is there a way to disable this effect on the mobile version menu? Basically, I want this hover mouseover effect on the desktop menu but not on the mobile menu / touchscreen devices.

I’ve tried to resolve both of these, but have had no luck! Hope someone can help.

    Thanks very much,

    Des

    Hi @arminunruh / @mariusjopen ,

I'm designing a site using Lay theme which has just one menu item – which will link to a page. I've set the primary menu item to be at the bottom right for the desktop version. I wish to replicate the desktop menu for smartphones / mobiles, however when I attempt to do this in the customise settings for smartphones / mobiles, there does not appear to be an option to do this.

Is there a custom way of setting the single menu item to the bottom right for smartphones / mobiles to match the desktop version?

Thanks very much for your time!

    Hi there,

I wish to use a SVG logo as the site title. I know I can upload a SVG file in the Customize / Site Title settings, but is there a way I can change the SVG logo site title colour from black to red when it's hovered over?

I did add the SVG code into the Custom HTML settings, then added some Custom CSS which enabled the colour change. However, this added an additional file, separate to the site title?!

What am I doing wrong? Any help and advice would be appreciated – thank you!

    Hi there,

Is it possible with Lay theme for me to create a temporary homepage, with no menu items, whilst I work on the full site design privately with menu items, pages, posts categories etc?

I envisage using the carousel add-0n on the temporary homepage, with a slideshow of images, giving visitors a snapshot of what's to come once the full site design is complete and ready to go live.

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi @mariusjopen

    Thanks for your reply.

I did try this, but it didn’t work. However, when I added ‘!important’ it worked – it resized perfectly.

    Thanks again,

Re: fixed image size / breakpoints

The above post already answers my question with regards to keeping the image sizes fixed, whilst the margins resize for different screen sizes. However, when I try this the image does not stay centred – the left and right margins are not equal either side. Is there a way to keep the image fixed but also have the left and right margins equal when the window is resized?

This is a good example of how the content stays fixed whilst you resize this window:

    Thanks in advance!
