    Hi @mariusjopen / @arminunruh

    The latest LayTheme update (version 3.37) fixed the issue for 100vh browser height carousels not displaying in a fullscreen slider – thank you!

    Something else I’ve noticed with the carousel , when you have a HTML5 video as the first slide it does not display after you have looped back to it again after viewing the rest of the slides.

    HTML5 videos display and play fine when you arrive at carousel first time round, it’s just when you loop back to it again it disappears for some reason – quite strange! This only applies to the first slide, other slides which are HTML5 videos appear and play fine once you loop back to them again after viewing them first time round.

    The issue happens on macOS and iOS, across Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

    Could this be looked into, please. Again, I think this could be a bug.

    Thanks, D

    Any thoughts on this?

    Hi @mariusjopen

    WordPress and LayTheme are up to date with the latest versions.

    I have disabled the third party plugins and removed any custom JS code temporarily to check, however, the same problem still occurs!

    This problem happened when updated the fullscreen slider plugin from a couple of weeks ago, I have since updated to the latest version of the plugin, and still the same issues occur.

    Perhaps @arminunruh can take a look at this, as I really think this looks like a bug.

    The url is in my original post above.

    Thanks.

    @mariusjopen

    Yes, I know no images are showing – that is part of the problem! It looks like the carousel and fullscreen slider are not working properly together. When I disable the fullscreen slider the images in the carousel appear, but not when both plugins are enabled.

    Please see my original post again. Thanks!

    Hi @arminunruh / @mariusjopen

    I have a category on my site which uses both the carousel and fullscreen slider plugins together. However, since the last updates they are not compatible on desktops. The fullscreen slider seems to split the screen in half so you have one carousel at the top and one below, with no images showing too.

    I disabled the fullscreen slider for this category and the carousel seems to work fine. It's just not working when both plugins are used together.

    I have other pages that use the fullscreen slider (without the carousel) and they still work fine.

    Also on the mobile site, HTML5 videos which appear in both the carousel / fullscreen slider together do not appear to be autoplaying anymore. However, the fullscreen slider is now displaying correctly now for iOS Safari – actually at ‘fullscreen’.

    Here's a link for reference: https://deslloydbehari.co.uk/repository/

    I assuming this is a bug?

    Thx,
    D

    Hi @mariusjopen

    Yes, I've used that code, and have now got it work. However, for the link, when hovering over it, the cursor does not change to a ‘hand’ to indicate it's a link, so it‘s not obvious to the viewer of the site.

    I have tried putting a href link in the JS custom code, but can't get it to work.

    <a href="javascript:history.back()"> Close </a>

    Any tips?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

    I‘m trying to create a binding JavaScript History Back link on a page.

    This is the code I’m using in the custom HTML head section, but it doesn't seem to work…

    <script>
    jQuery(document).on("click", "go-back", function(event) {
    history.back();
    });
    </script>

    I’ve set a custom HTML class to the text box – "go-back"

    But I can't seem to get it to work. I want it to work like a ‘normal’ HTML link, so when hovering the cursor over the text link, it will change to a ‘hand’ as standard, and when clicked goes back to the previous page.

    Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

    Thanks, D

    Hey @arminunruh ,

    Thanks for this.

    For some projects which have dark backgrounds / images on the first row, I have the sitetitle and nav load in white (instead of on scroll / mouse move). Using this code in the Custom CSS & HTML…

    jQuery(window).on("fpAfterLoad", function(){

    However, I do not have the fullscreen slider enabled for the mobile version of the site, so this code doesn’t work on mobiles.

    If I use this code it works for both desktop and mobile, but of course only on scroll, not on load.

    jQuery(window).on("scroll", function(){

    I did try this, but it didn’t work…

    jQuery(window).on("load", function(){

    Is there a way for this to work on load for the mobile version, which doesn’t have fullscreen slider enabled? Have been trying, but can’t find a solution.

    Also, could it work if the mobile-title was an SVG? For the mobile version, it uses the desktop menu, but want to have the mobile-title different (just my initials) so it fits on the same line as the menu.
