Custom desktop menuHey @alasdair17
Thanks! I've followed the steps, enabled 'overlay' in lay options, selected 'overlay' at the right hand side and linked it from the menu, but it still opens like a page.Attempted to look here, but page not working: https://laytheme.com/documentation/overlays.html

Custom desktop menuHello @Richard, @mariusjopen,
I would like to create a custom menu.The idea is when you click on the word ‘Work’ a submenu appears on a solid white overlay.
Here is a screenshot
I’ve looked at the relevant threads and tried to pull what I can grasp.
I go to Appearance / Menus, and then do I create a menu item ‘Work’ via Custom Links, to then put the individual works under it as sub-items?
If this is the wrong way to do this, please advise.My next question would be what signifier should I use in order to style it.
I looked at this thread, thinking maybe I could use .sub-menu. This didn’t work.

Mobile spacingHi @Richard, no I would like the anchor to arrive lower.
In theory { padding-top: 9vw; } works as I need it to, but I must find the right selector.
Thanks!

Mobile spacingMy one page site is split into 3 sections – I have 3 anchor points defined by 3 different ids.
The 3 items on the menu link to each of these anchor points.
Because of the set spacing on mobile, the top of each section loads too high up. I would like it lower. I'm trying this:#works { padding-top: 9vw; } #press { padding-top: 9vw; } #contact { padding-top: 9vw; }
I imagine it may be too basic. Once again, any advice would be much appreciated, thanks! 🥀
