Same problem, after upload to 3.8.0 the text Format drop down in Add Text panel doesn't work and this warning message appears in the margin down of the panel:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'type' in /usr/home/bravo.studio/web/site/wp-content/themes/lay/formatsmanager/formatsmanager.php on line 101
Any idea?

Hi, I have use Laytheme for a several times. I think is the best website template for wordpress and I think is very interesting implement in the future this:
– Scroll based animations.
– Gridder for tablet size.

@zero No plugin, it's a little css trick. I charge a image in the background of the image Div with css. Is not very good, but sometimes the images don't charge fast, and this situation is not good for the user experience.
