Working now! @arminunruh.
I updated to 8.9.5 and disabled the LiteSpeed plugin, but nothing changed. After setting the transition to 'none', everything worked again.
Thanks for the quick help!

Hi there!
I have the same issue. Everything updated and still not working.
The site loads, but can't navigate. But if I refresh any page it works.
I don't have the ewww plugin.
Thank you in advance!
Eric.

Thank you!
After debugging and some Chatgpt I found this:
The error you're seeing is caused by a problem in the LayTheme Carousel plugin. Specifically:
A variable named $LayFrontend_Options is being used without being defined first (this causes a PHP Warning).
Then, the code tries to use that undefined variable as if it were a class name ā but since it's null or not a valid string/object, PHP throws a Fatal Error.
As a result, the layout can't be built correctly, and the page crashes or fails to render.
I tested the plugin update on other websites using Lay Theme, and it works fine.
To add more context, I re-uploaded the previous versions of both Lay Theme and the plugin, then updated them again ā but the error still persists.
Hi there!
After updating the Lay Theme Carousel plugin to version 2.7.7, the website no longer loads and shows the following critical error:
There has been a critical error on this website.
When I deactivate the plugin (or addon), the website works again as expected.
Any help or suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you!!
