    To close this topic: it is a »bug/feature« of chrome browser, to stop rendering transition effects from a certain height on when the webpage is visually too big, for example on a full screen browser window on a imac 5k retina display.

    Hey @mariusjopen

    I fixed the issue with the horizontal arranged gallery that scrolls sideways when you use a vertical mousewheel. Here is a function that works with laytheme.
    it hast to be written directly into the custom html for the div.

    What also came in handy is to add »style="-webkit-transform: translateZ(0);"« inside every <img> tag. Because the mobile device has a bit of a difficulty to show images correctly when using » -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;« in a horizontal layout.

    Cheers
    Felix

    p.s. I don’t know how to use the »coding-look« with black background in this forum?

    <script>jQuery(function () {
    jQuery.fn.hScroll = function (amount) {
    amount = amount || 120;
    jQuery(this).bind("DOMMouseScroll mousewheel", function (event) {
    var oEvent = event.originalEvent,
    direction = oEvent.detail ? oEvent.detail * -amount : oEvent.wheelDelta,
    position = jQuery(this).scrollLeft();
    position += direction > 0 ? -amount : amount;
    jQuery(this).scrollLeft(position);
    event.preventDefault();
    })
    };
    });

    jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    jQuery('.div').hScroll(30); // You can pass (optionally) scrolling amount
    });
    </script>

    Thank you for your info, this is a good method. i found out that a "mix-blend-mode: difference" is causing transition-problems from a certain height on in chrome (in firefox it works fine). if i delete the last row it works fine, if i add more rows it gets worse. i think i dont know if there is a fix for this, i will keep looking...

    Dear Armin,

    Thank you very much for your help, now the transition is working.

    It seems that the row-gutters in the project overview are not transitioning but they just disapear by clicking on a thumbnail or link. The now missing space is cut off at the end of the page just before the transition starts. it happens when the browser window is minimum about 2000 px wide. Could you give me a hint why this happens? Thank you again. Felix

    Dear Layteam,

    On my site the fade-in-out transition between the pages is not working. I used a lot of custom HTML, but it doesnt even work on project-thumbnails i placed in the gridder layout. I send you the link via e-mail. Thank you for looking into it!

    you could try this in your css:

    ._body_huge {
    max-width: 1200px;
    margin: auto;
    }

    Try This:

    @media (min-width: 770px)
    ._center-1200.no-parallax.no-offset.col.push-1.span-10.align-middle {
    width: initial !important;
    max-width: 1200px;
    /* margin-top: 30vh; /
    margin-left: auto !important;
    margin-right: auto !important;
    padding: 0 5% 0 5%;
    /
    position: relative !important; */
    /left: initial !important;/

    Get rid of the "margin top" and the "position: relative" and the "left:initial" in this block.

    Okay, i found a hidden "widht: 100%" that was attached to the img, so it’s fixed.
