logo you're using, you need to use an image that is smaller
this is 5.8 megabytes and is more than 20.000 pixels wide

use an image that is maybe 2000 px wide and like 1mb max or 500kb :D

websites tend to get really slow when they need to resize huuuuge images

dont use % for indent

also your selector is wrong
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/:active

read this, as u can see only while the mouse is held down on the button that is when the css is applied for the :active state

also make sure u use the correct selector

you will need all of these:
nav.laynav .current-menu-item>a, nav.laynav .current_page_item>a, nav.laynav .current-menu-parent>a, nav.laynav .current-menu-ancestor>a{ text-indent:10px !important; }
also since text indent just moves the text to the right, this css probably only makes sense if your menu is a vertical menu

hello!

thanks for you answer!, yes, I got there, but in the "text formats" page and while creating a character style I cannot set a shift in the baseline grid (sub/superindex) or a different line height. I did a custom Css that says:

.Author{
baseline-shift: 3em !important;
}

.Title{
baseline-shift: super !important;
}
(title and author being the character styles that I created in the text formats)

nothing changes when I apply these character styles in the text editor

any solutions?

@giselach all usability-questions put aside, I think the problem is the margin between the rows. while the letters get smaller with smaller window height, the rows stay the same size (it seems to me).

Having the Parent and Child elements visible all the time.
Does the following suit your needs?
A Sub-menu Sub-menu style set to "Click" in > Customize > Sub-menu >
Following code added into > Lay Options > Custom CSS & HTML > Custom <Head> Content :
<script> window.laytheme.on("newpageshown", function(layoutObj, type, obj){ jQuery(".menu-item-has-children").addClass("show-submenu-desktop"); }); </script>
Result (Sub-menu appears open)

Could you please give more context, or a link to your website with the "menu" element in question 🔍

I would suggest using different names than ones that may clash with native Lay Theme classes.

e.g not menu but custom-menu
Just to make sure you don't add CSS properties to classes that have already been set.
