I'm not using any cache plugins, just double checked.

And there are no pages or projects that have the same permalink to my knowledge. The page that is being displayed on mobile version right now is also just an unfinished version of what I want.

My site is a one pager both on Desktop and Mobile also, so a permalink mix-up shouldn't be the problem.

Thank you! It's happened once before around ayear ago but it randomly resolved itself one day. Very confusing, please do let me know if you find a fix for the issue :)

Hi Lay Theme folks,

I've recently been updating the design of my website and really happy with how the desktop version has gone — however the Mobile layout hasn't gone to plan.

First of all I've decided on a mobile layout and its now half done. I have a select amount of the content placed into it. However it's now not letting me place any more content into the gridder and I'm getting a 'can't put element here' error message. Finding this confusing as every other element thats already in there has been placed into the gridder in the exact same way (it's as if I've reached a gridder limit). See screenshot attached.

Secondly, I've processed the work I've been able to get into the gridder and saved the layout. However the site is not updating and is seemingly stuck on an old version of the design with different typefaces, layout etc. Weirdly the site is showing correctly on mobile if I view it in Chrome Developer.

Any ideas?

Everything is up to date, Lay Theme itself, all plugins.

I am using no external plugins.

I have no custom code within the site.

So a little confused as to whats causing this...

This seems like an age old conversation on this forum, however @arminunruh is there any plan to offer users the ability to make an element "sticky" for a whole page rather than just a row?

This seems like a very common feature amongst websites and something very simple to achieve with competitor web design tools (Cargo, SquareSpace etc.).

Considering I'm reading topic discussions from over 2 years ago (http://laythemeforum.com:4567/topic/6672/sticky-element/4) where users have had to work together to calculate custom code in order to achieve this I find it a bit frustrating that no solution is being offered beyond "have you tried creating your own JQuery to achieve this".

I feel very loyal to LayTheme but when simply features like this go ignored I do feel a little let down.

I've also just checked this within Google Chrome developer tools and the bug is also present within their when viewed within mobile dimensions (iPhone SE, iPhone XR etc.),

I recently redesigned my custom mobile layout for my site (around 6-8 months ago) and it was working like a dream, I was very happy with it.

However, I recently revisited my site via mobile and have found that its not working correctly at all and causing my phone to crash.

Have tested it on other peoples phones and its not displaying correctly on theres also.

For reference of what it should appear like heres a screenshot of the site build within WordPress:

It's a long scroller with various carousels of projects on auto play.

However on mobile, its stuck on just the type displayed at the top of the page, it does not scroll at all anymore. Also, if I scroll left, design content of mine begins to appear, displayed in completely the wrong way.

I love Lay Theme so much, but this is quite dissapointing as it appears to have bugged out on its own accord.

I've got what seems like quite a simple issue in essence, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix it...

My website design has remained the same for coming up to 2 years now, with a full screen carousel on the homepage and captions at the bottom of the page.

However, for some reason the positioning of the carousel captions now appear to have changed and the caption for the following slide is appearing in the bottom right corner.

Hi guys, I've seen a very similar post to this on the forum in the past, but the solution from a community member seemed kind of regressive, was wondering if you have any fresh ideas/new work arounds?

I've recently updated my site and by adding a bunch of new videos they all seemed to get cropped to a landscape format from both square and portrait formats when placed into my index page.

On the main pages of my site they appear fine, but once dropped into the index page they immediately get cropped, any ideas?

I would really appreciate some help on this one as it is the final thing I need to complete before activating my site (and I really wanna start applying to new jobs!!!)

Very simply, I have a visual index set up on my site that works perfectly in the desktop layout, however on the custom mobile layout, once images are placed in the gridder they become completely locked in place....

I'm unable to move any images, except from up and down the far left side, if I try to move them in any other direction I get a red bar show up and a 'Cant put element here' error message.

Can ANYBODY help cleat this up for me???

I'm sure this may be very simple, however I just can't seem to figure it out!

All I want to be able to do is to be able to set the captions for my carousel at a specific position, exactly the same px size from the bottom of the page as my menu from the top of the page.

I'm having issues with changes in window size and it affecting my on screen caption positions and hoping this may be a resolution...

Hi guys,

I've been trying to figure out something for ages that I just can't quite solve.

I'm looking to have alternate caption styles for Desktop and Mobile layout on my carousel addon.

The difference being, on Desktop I would like the captions to exist on a single line, whilst on Mobile to be displayed across two separate lines.

Can anyone help me out with this super simple but frustrating issue?...

Hi I'm new to Lay Theme and I'm just wondering if theres a simple way to have flowing alternations between image sizes in a single carousel?

For example can I have one image be centralised at 50vh and another at full screen height/width? So on and so forth.
