hi!

i have a fixed primary menu and on my "archive" page, i have a thumbnail grid with categories and tag filter displayed as a sort of "menu" on the same height as the primary menu .

now, when i activate the banner that's behind the primary menu, it lays itself over my tags and categories – how can i make sure they are also displayed on top of the banner?

secondly, i want the thumbnail images to scroll behind the banner – is this possible, while having the categories and tags on top?

1. is there a way to make sure that only one tag is active? so, when clicking on a tag it becomes active, and when clicking on another tag the previous one becomes inactive, etc. (similar behaviour like the categories).

2. is it possible for these tags to have a fixed position? so, they don't move to the beginning but stay where they are?

3. is it possible to have tags displayed on project pages? let's say i'm on the project page, have a display of tags and when clicking on one of them, it brings me to the "archive" page with all the projects having this specific tag.

solved: when you go to the project page, on the right panel you see an option with disable link, uncheck the box.

i've implemented a thumbnail grid to this website: https://johannagratzer.site/archive/ – you can view it under "archive".

problem: when clicking on the thumbnail image, it doesn't redirect me to the corresponding project page.

another persisting issue: i don't have the theme file editor under appearance in my wordpress file.
