Hi @Richard,
I think that I found the line code that makes the Intro Image crashes, here it is:
.grid-inner {
padding-top:200px !important;
}
I hope this is gonna help fixing the issue?
Kind regards
Loris

Dear @Richard,
Thank you very much for your reply!
The problem only applies to the desktop layout, as I have not yet set it on the Mobile Layout.
Step 1)
• All addons are up to date.
• I have configured the connection with the Lay Option as you have done.
Result: nothing has changed, the problem remains the same.
Step 2)
• I removed all the Custom Code from Desktop Layout.
Result = The Intro image seems to work as expected.
It is a good news, but unfortunately I can't get rid of my Custom Code, I'll have to put it back as soon as possible.
How can we fix this issue from here?
Thanks and best,
Loris
Hi everyone, @Armin-Unruh, @mariusjopen,
The Intro image of my website doesn't work has expected.
The image keeps appearing differently every time I refresh the page, on all the browsers I've tested. It blinks, fade out really quick and actually doesnt respect the settings. My theme is up to date and Wordpress too.
Here is the link
Assuming that this problem can be fixed, I have a second request. I would like to have a selection of 3-4 different images appear randomly on each new visit to the site, is this possible?
I hope someone can help.
Thank you!
Hi @Arthur, this doesn't work for me.
I have change the homepage ID, but none of images are showing up.
Links to my images seem to be good… I don't know how to solve that.
Any idea ?
Thanks for helping
Loris
Hello,
I am using the fullscreen slider addon, with vertical slides. I have uploaded custom arrows in the fullscreen slider option, but these doesn't show up.
Wordpress, Laytheme and Addons are up to date.
Does anyone has an idea how to fix it?
Thanks

Hello there,
My Lay website indicates "Page not found" since the last Laytheme update, the page is visible, but the font in use doesn't show up anymore.
Does anyone have a recommandation fixing this issue ?
Thanks
Loris
Dear @mariusjopen
I have deleted some characters in the coding > /home/lorisper/www/wp-content/themes/lay/search/search.php on line 113
I have no idea if that was good, but yet the website is working now. But it was not working with the update. Could you have a look on that error to make it not happen within the next Lay update?
Thanks and best,
Loris
Dear @mariusjopen, @arminunruh
Since the last update of Lay, my website is not working anymore :
Everything else is up to date, there is my page.
Please, can you fix the issue as soon as possible?
Thank you!

Hi there, @Armin-Unruh, @mariusjopen,
my email address is in clear format on my web page, using mailto
.
I tried to use some javascript to protect it from bots and spamming, but it seems that I didn't find the right place to put the code on LayTheme.
Is there a way to still use mailto
and protect the email address?
Thank you!
Best, L
Hi @mariusjopen,
I am afraid that nothing changed since I have installed YOAST…
The description of my website still doesn't show up as it is set in my Lay Options, and in the plugin too.
How can we solve that?
Thank you!
Loris
Hi @mariusjopen , I have installed YOAST, let's see what happen!

Happy new year as well!!!
Best, Loris
Hello,
Why the description of my website doesn't show up as it is set in my Lay Options? It's been a long time ago that I have set it up like this.
Please, see images of the issue:
Thank you for your help!

Hi @arminunruh,
I have set https to the src, it works perfectly now!
You are doing a very great job, thank you very much again!
All the best,
Loris
Hi @arminunruh, @mariusjopen
I have looked more attentively into this issue, and I discovered that Firefox tells me some elements of my website are not secure. Even if my website is configured on 'http' in my Wordpress panel, it shows up as 'https', and this seems to block the caroussel. If I disable the protection, the website switches from 'https' to 'http' and the carousel works perfectly. I have tried to upload the images of my carousel again, but it doesn't solve the problem.
This is a real issue for me because I use this caroussel to show a product I am selling. If the carousel doesn't work I loose my clients.
I really hope we can solve this problem! Thanks.
All the best,
Loris
Here is the link to my page.
Hi @arminunruh,
I have updated the caroussel. Now it shows up, but it doesn't work until the end…

Hi @arminunruh, @mariusjopen
I am coming back with another bug that I have noticed on my website. My web address appears as "https" on Google, even if it set as "http" in my wordpress settings. The bug is that the carousel I have on my home page doesn't appear when the address is defined on "https", but it works when it is "http". The big problem is that Google indexes the website as "https", so everyone who is going on my website by Google won't see the carousel.
Please, try the following adresses, and you will see the problem:
Looking forward to hear from you!
Thank you!
Loris
Hi @arminunruh,
This works! Thank you very much!
All best,
Loris
Hi @arminunruh and @mariusjopen,
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to change anything for me. The result displays the same problem… What can I do?
Best, Loris
