Hey Max,

I see you're using the latest version of fullscreen slider addon and almost the latest version of lay theme.

I tested your issue in my local installation of lay theme and I can see differences in my laytheme's css and yours, causing me to believe:

if you use a caching plugin you need to clear your cache (always do so after updating lay theme and addons)

or maybe you need to update lay theme once more

if that doesnt solve it:

can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

you probably set a caption by selecting the carousel element and then clicking "edit caption"

the option only hides the per-slide captions. these are the ones you set when you edit a carousel and set a caption per slide:

Also you are captioning your carousel elements by selecting them and using "edit caption"

however, you need to edit your carousel element, select a slide, and then click "edit caption"
