@cccccc Works for me. Maybe you can install the chrome extension https://birdeatsbug.com/feature/browser-extension and record a session and send the link here. so maybe there is no need to share login data.

also listing all your plugins could help as well as deactivate your adblocker & logout & login

Just figured out, laytheme is really removing this feature in the setup/setup.php:797 line 797 AND 808:

remove_post_type_support( 'post', 'page-attributes' );

commenting this function call out shows the select for the parent page again.

fyi @arminunruh the function call is is called in line 797 AND 808, i think only one is necessary. :)

Hej,

there should be a native functionality within wordpress to set parent pages for normal pages. But it looks like laytheme deactivated these settings. How can i use/set parent pages? I know, i can achieve something similar with setting the slug, but thats not the same.
