ok so i found out this happens when u activate "use imagehover" for the project index element in the "style" tab

but then you disable the imagehover addon

will be fixed with the next update

Thanks for the responses guys. In the end i decided to change my 'link in text' underline options in customize as unfortunately nothing seemed to override that. But I'm happy with that workaround for now.

try the steps:

Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons Disable all Plugins Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes" Now see if your problem solved itself Go here, see if your problem is listed here:

Lay Theme's native CSS may take precedence and not be overridden.
You should use it sparingly, but if needed you can use the !important property: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_important.asp

Please set the new frame dimensions & then click 'Publish'.
This will allow the Gridder to re-calibrate the elements to its new dimensions.

In your admin bar > Tools > site health - what PHP version is running?

Also before proceeding just to be sure that these steps dont apply to you:

Wordpress, Lay Theme & Laytheme's Addons are all up to date ? Any Custom CSS or JS that may interfere is temporarily removed. Any third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue. If using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache. License key not activated - (in website blank situations or button not available)
If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required"
please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel.

That could be the issue, are you able to log into your 'Webhost' and update this? It cannot be done through Lay Theme.
The Server or Host who controls your domain should have a 'control panel'

"Please make sure you are using a PHP version greater than 5.2. On most webhosts you can set the php version in the webhost control panel. Also make sure you are using the latest Lay Theme version."

If you go into 'tools - Site Health' in your admin bar what PHP does it say?
