Very close to launching a site and we have a snag that we can't figure out. It looks like animated GIF's are being compressed for mobile devices which is causing the animation to break and become just a static image. GIFs are playing on Desktop, they're just not working on smaller devices when the smaller, compressed file is shown. Is there a workaround/fix for this? Can that particular feature be disabled for GIFs? We need them to play on smaller devices.

We're using the laygridder plugin by the way. Assuming the answer may apply to both the theme and the plugin...

@arminunruh Thanks for following up on that! Appreciate it. Happy to pay for a license for the plugin once you guys have that set up if it means ongoing support. I realize its still in beta, but any idea when the plugin will be actively supported with regular fixes/updates?

@mariusjopen thanks for the reply! If I download the latest from the Laygridder site will it have the fix applied for the dropdown menus? Or are those releases separate from LayTheme updates? We're about to launch our site using Laygridder and Id just like to know if the plugin will have some support behind it moving forward.

Hello! Posting here because the Laygridder forum seems to be disabled/non functioning. We're using your Laygridder plugin to build our site. Are updates released for the standalone plugin as they're released for Laytheme? (specifically looking for the bug fix for the menu's not appearing with the latest version of WP?) Also, are there controls for the image output quality on the plugin? Looking to never show resized version of our images if possible. Or where could I comment out/remove some code to stop the compression of images in the plugin files?

In general, will this plugin be actively supported in the future (I know the goal is to become a paid plugin)?
