dear community,
unfortunately since the latest update of LayTheme I have the problem that the express checkout buttons are now positioned as ‘Top’ instead of the usual ‘Bottom’ (usually under .. add to cart ). I have tried to narrow down what the problem could be and unfortunately it looks like the error can be traced back to the last update.
// cleared cache
// deactivated all plugins
// disabled custom code
// changed theme
Do you have the same problem? / - or a fix :)

I started building my 2 sites with Laytheme in the middle of last year and am very enthusiastic about the scope of possibilities and the constant great updates. Unfortunately I have to struggle with massive performance problems with both domains and am now at the end of my knowledge and do not want to move to another theme/solution.
The domains I am talking about (i have set it to public so that you have access to it):
https://www.josua-rappl.de --> almost finished and manageable in terms of overall size
/ deactivated woocomerce (to test whether this could also be the cause)
https://www.roucs.com --> very naked, only placeholders very little content but still awfully slow
/ activated woocomerce
both domains run via the hoster dreamhost recommended by you and the booked package is called "share-unlimited"
what I have tried so far:
/ step-by-step activation of plugins
/ superchache --> settings from the LAY-tutorial + all images are optimised (webp)
/ all unnecessary plugins & themes deleted / deactivated
/ different computers & browsers
/ analysed by Lighthouse in the hope of finding out why there is a very long initial server response time
/ checking the size of my wp-data in case there ist so kind of bloating/bouncing
I also have the feeling that it gets worse with the activation of woocomerce. The same applies to the backend of WP - sometimes I have a response time of 20-30 seconds.
What can I do to improve the performance of my pages?
I am very grateful for any help & tips

Hey Armin thank you for your fast answer. Unfortunately your suggestion didn't lead to a solution. based on the other forum entries where there are other questions regarding WPforms, theoretically it should work, right?
Is there an alternative that we know of that is compatible with Laygridder?
Dear community,
I am desperately trying to embed a form created in WPforms(lite) in a page. WPforms offers an embed function where you have to specify whether you want to create a new page with the form or add it to an existing one.
Unfortunately nothing happens in both cases and no element is added to the pages. Only adding via shortcode is possible but unfortunately (for me) not very useful as you can no longer style and edit the form to change colors, fonts etc. in the grid.
I have LAYTheme and all plugins up to date and have already deactivated them all, but this has not led to a solution.
Is there anyone here who could successfully integrate and edit (style) WPforms?
What could be the problem?

@vthevoz +1 a feature of switching off the //refs to work only aesthetically with the imagehover plugin would be very useful!
