What you could do is you could just not use your custom video player plugin and not use shortcodes on your project pages. So in summary it has nothing to do with the external video source, but its because of the shortcode

the videos aspect ratio is determined by a .ph container that gets a padding bottom css. you might need to adapt this too

if you have more videos on your page and they all have the same aspect ratio you can use: .html5video .ph{ padding-bottom: 56.466667%!important; } if you insert a video by using gridder +video → +html5 video

it will always scroll to a row that is expanded it will never scroll to a collapsed row i think! do you have a link so i can see and understand it better and then please a screenshot of sth where i see what i need to click to reproduce this
