    Hi there,

I'm working on a website locally using Lay Theme 2.5.6 and running into a weird problem:

In Firefox and Edge there's a white area below my footer (not in Chrome and Opera).
The footer is set up as a sticky footer, the footer page has 0% bottom frame.

From what I've seen in the inspector it seems that the "div#grid.grid" is higher than the content within (see screenshot attached). I also found that this extra area only appears after I put content (text in this case) on the footer page. When I leave the footer page empty, the additional space dissapears.

Any idea how I could get rid of that additional space?

Thanks in advance for your help and kind regards,
    Vincent

    Hi everyone,

I've tried to move the caption to the left next to the carousel (here's a rough sketch of what I'm trying to achieve) without success.

    Is that possible at all?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Vincent!

    Hey Marius,
    thanks for looking into this!

I'm afraid I can't link to the site as I'm working on it locally.
But I use the plain-vanilla laytheme and carousel add-on without any customisations.

    Hope that helps :)

    Re: Hover on simple Images

    Hey y'all!
I'm trying to achieve something similar as in the topic above but for carousels.

The idea is to have the carousel image caption and the image count appear on hover. I tried various selectors but couldn't get it to work yet.

Would be great to get a hint on how to do this!

    Thanks in advance :)

    Thanks Marius,

hadn't found the thread you mentioned before.
Would be great to have multi language support sometime in the future.
Is that already on the timeline?

    @mariusjopen

    Hi Marius,

sorry for my late reply and thanks for the idea.

I tried qTranslate but it didn't quite work.
I was able to translate the title of a site but it wouldn't work for gridder content.

Any ideas what I could try to make it work?
Or any other plugins worth looking at?

    Best,
    Vincent

    Hi all!
Firstly, Armin, thanks for an amazing theme, love it!

Secondly, I'm looking for a translation plugin that would be compatible with Lay.
I tried Polylang today, but couldn't get it to work properly.

Is anyone aware of a translation plugin that works with Lay without having to hack it?
    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Best,
    Vincent
