Thank you again Armin, the latest version of Lightbox has fixed that issue. Thank you so much!!
I'll make sure I will post a link next time too. Thanks, Mark

Hey @arminunruh
I have my site setup with a Lightbox caption that links to the image's corresponding gallery. However, the Lightbox navigation will swipe either left or right for a spilt second before the thumbnail's gallery loads.
This creates a problem when the user wants to go back, because it goes back to the last swiped image, which was that split second before the gallery opened and NOT where the user left the Lightbox image.
It seems the button area of the caption link is conflicting with the Lightbox navigation. Is there a way to bring the caption (and link) forward or on top of the Lightbox navigation?
So the backstory here is that to legally use mainstream music in videos, you need to do this via YouTube (vimeo doesn't have this option). However when you embed a YouTube video you also get all the branding, titles etc.
Presto player lets you remove the branding, change colour of the controls and generally does what vimeo allows you to do, but to a YouTube video. It effectively creates a player within a WordPress website with the youtube video embedded.
However, I can't find a way to add the Presto Player "media" to a LayTheme project. @arminunruh is this something that you can add to the "add video" section to a project? Or is there another way that I can add Presto Player "media"?
Hey Armin, 2 questions for you:
I would like to have some padding for the lightbox so the image doesn't overlay the menu. So far I have come up with this:
body.lightbox-css-on #lightbox-region {
padding-top: 30px
}
However, this pushes the Lightbox down the page and the bottom of the image is then off center.
What's the best way to keep the Lightbox with 30px of top AND bottom padding but still keeping 100% width?
Also, where's your tip jap / buy me a coffee / patreon??
Thank you again Armin, that works perfectly and is just what I was after.
Hey Armin, the code obviously changes every single category and project gallery, which is not ideal.
Is there a way to add an HTML class and ID to categories so I can isolate where the "object-fit" code targets?
Thank you so much Armin! That works perfectly!!!
That's amazing! Thank you so much Armin!! Just one thing, is there a way to use this code in the regular gridder (instead of using it with elementgrid or thumbnailgrid)?
BTW, you should have a tip jar, buy me a coffee or a Patreon option link. This stuff is gold!
Hey @arminunruh , would be amazing to make this happen as the gridder doesn’t play nicely with combined horizontal and vertical images. Could you please look into this?
If anyone needs the mobile CSS code its:
.mobile-title, .lay-mobile-icons-wrap{
z-index: 999!important;
}
Hey @arminunruh , my love for laytheme runs deep as you know but I've been frustrated with the gridder because of the way it snaps to the taller thumbnail of whatever image is in the column. This makes a big portrait thumbanil and a small landscape thumbnail. See here:
If you try to make both portrait and landscape thumbnails roughly the same size, the landscape images will span 2 columns and the page loses its uniformity:
What I would like for the thumbnail grid, is for both landscape and portrait images to stay within the same column as well as be the same approximate same size, just like this:
The only way to do this is buy having a square "container" within a column and for the image to be centered both vertical and horizontal within the square.
Is this something I could do with CSS? Or could it be something that you could implement for Laytheme users?
That's perfect, thank you so much Armin!
Hey @arminunruh
I love the lightbox add on feature but I would like to keep the site title and navigation showing, but still have the grid opacity work.
Could this be done with some CSS code?
Okay, thank you Armin.
Yes, that's exactly what I mean, it would be an amazing feature.
Is it something you could possibly do for laytheme?
Hey @arminunruh ,
Is it possible to have the project overlay feature to continue scrolling through to the thumbnail grid when you get to the end of the project?
This would save the user from having to click the "X" button and possibly keep the user on the site for longer.
Thanks again for all your amazing work!
Hi Armin, checking in to see if you have made any progress on the column responsiveness. There's a good example of columns changing in response to browser size here: https://www.quentindebrieystudio.com/photography and here: https://www.joeperriphoto.com/
I'm wanting to change webhosts and I'm just looking for fast, reliable webhosts. Preferably US based. Any recommendations?
Thank you for the reply Armin. Would be great to have a responisve column number option for the gridder in future versions.
First off, I wanted to mention how much I'm loving Laytheme, it's so damn good! Thank you @arminunruh !
I want to create the same responsiveness in the gridder that the "thumbnail grid" does in the way that you can decide how many columns/images are shown in the tablet and phone size websites.
For my desktop site, I have 4 images to a page width. This shrinks to just 1 when the browser is reduced to phone size.
I would like this to shrink to 3 for tablet and then 2 for phone. I know that I can do this with the element or thumbnail grid but if you use this then, you can't do the "replace image" for a project thumnbail.
Is there a way that you can stipulate how many columns/images are shown in the gridder at a given browser size?
I also code custom websites or custom Lay features.
