I'm wanting to change webhosts and I'm just looking for fast, reliable webhosts. Preferably US based. Any recommendations?

First off, I wanted to mention how much I'm loving Laytheme, it's so damn good! Thank you @arminunruh !

I want to create the same responsiveness in the gridder that the "thumbnail grid" does in the way that you can decide how many columns/images are shown in the tablet and phone size websites.

For my desktop site, I have 4 images to a page width. This shrinks to just 1 when the browser is reduced to phone size.

I would like this to shrink to 3 for tablet and then 2 for phone. I know that I can do this with the element or thumbnail grid but if you use this then, you can't do the "replace image" for a project thumnbail.

Is there a way that you can stipulate how many columns/images are shown in the gridder at a given browser size?

Thanks Armin. I'm a little nervous of emailing that info as my website is extremely important for my work. Is there a more secure way of looking at this or could we set up a screen share session? Thanks, Mark

The "disable cover for phone" option isn't working. I've tried "turn off all custom code" but that didn't make a difference.

Hey @arminunruh is there a way of using "mix-blend-mode" but keeping the text either black or white instead of inverting the colors?

I've tried using all the different blend modes but they all have a reversed color output.

I've also tried using filter and grayscale but these don't work after the mix-blend-mode" function.

Would there be any java script that could dynamically change text to either black or white when scrolled over images?

Correct @arminunruh while it's not e-commerce, it's to know where in the website
a user is at any point of time.

Being able to display the category you're vieing as an additional line in the main navigation would be the dream!

I'm trying to justify text on a specific mobile page but for the life of me I can't make it work.

@arminunruh could you please tell me how can I target specific text on a mobile only site?

Wanted to see if anyone has their website hosted by DreamHost and paid the extra for the "DreamPress" option with built-in caching? It doesn't come cheap at $16.95/month.... Did it make a noticeable speed difference to your website?

Just one thing though, and that is that the gridder will not allow the video thumbnail to be anything but square (when it's a 9:16 video). Is that a WordPress issue? Would be great if they can sort that out if so.

I'm not sure if this is a bug in WordPress because you can see that the frame is square in the gridder. When the video is published, it fills this square area. https://www.markbramley.com/9-16-bug

If it is a bug in WordPress, is there any CSS code that I could implement to work around this issue?

I'm wanting to add 9:16 video thumbnails to my site but they're being automatically cropped to a 1:1 or square format.

In the gridder, they display as 9:16 but on the website, they're cropped square.

9:16 video is huge now as almost all social media videos are shot in a 9:16 format.

Could you please fix this bug?

It would be nice if Lay Theme had a more rigorous testing procedure before releasing updates...
