Hi again Marius,
I WILL try this, thanks dude! I wanted to hide the entire white bar, logo and menu items.
I'll set up another staging and see how it goes.
Cheers,
Darius

HI Marius,
thanks so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately (fortunately?) we decided against a menu all together since the page was so short.
If I get time I will test out what you suggested. But for now the page has gone live without a menu!
Thanks again,
Darius
Hi again,
I have another issue -
I'm trying to use anchor links to scroll to sections, but its not working - I have tried this method
and also via the page editor > right click > edit html class and id > id.
In both cases I have added a custom link in the menu with the id #lokaleveranstalter in the url.
Either way, when I click on the menu item it opens a new window to the URL and doesn't scroll to the section. If I enter the full URL with anchor link and press enter whilst the page has already loaded, it teleports to that section.
How can I stop the new tab opening and is there a way to make the transition a little more fluid?
This thread is close to what I want to do, but I'm not sure how to integrate the functionality into the menu items.
Can you help with this?
Cheers,
Darius
Hi Marius and Armin!
really enjoying the speed I can achieve with lay theme! However I have hit a wall.
I would like to hide the menu bar, logo and menu items until the user starts scrolling. I have to admit I'm not good at jQuery, so I am a little lost.
I've tried following this support item but it only hides the menu items (currently still have the code in <head>) and it is a bit janky in the sense that it doesnt work until I have started scrolling back up.
and I've found this on StackOverflow but I'm not sure how to adapt it to my page (sh*t at jQuery).
My website is http://wordpress.p507516.webspaceconfig.de/.
Thanks in advance,
Darius
Hi Marius,
sorry for the late reply and thanks for the tips! I ended up using https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/ to find and replace in the DB (works very well).
I also tried updraft and it works pretty good, thanks for the tip! I'm sure the paid version is worth it!
I still can't use the theme license, could you follow that up?
Thanks again,
Darius
P.S. how good are names that end in -arius?
Hi Armin,
I moved our new site from our staging server to a live server, and am having a problem getting the project URLs to update. I moved the db and files manually after migrate-wp was giving me the same bug.
http://www.testanstalt.de/ is the live domain, yet the projects are showing http://wordpress.p410847.webspaceconfig.de/ in the project overview...
The navigation works until you click on one of the projects with a wrong link, then nothing happens anymore.
If I try to force the URLs to change with velvet blues, I get JSON errors on all the projects and nothing is displayed..... Any ideas?
Also, I forgot to deactivate my key on an installation which doesn't exist anymore, would you mind resetting it?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Darius
