This question is about using Lay theme as a building tool for clients.

Is there a way for me to build a site and give access to my client only to the "content" part? Meaning they can add images and text on a project for instance without messing up the layout or the reste of the site.

I know some Wordpress plugins like WP Adminify can customize what users have access to but checking in if we could separate content from design, even this is the point and strength of Lay :)

in lay options, scroll down to the flower button, and there enable the ai mode beta version

in ai mode, connect your claude / chatgpt with your lay theme site

then go to one of your pages in wp-admin and tell your ai something like:

"hide the gridder here, create custom fields for the content of the gridder, and make sure all the content can be filled out with custom fields"

the API for AI clients should know what to do and should be able to do this within a few minutes

let me know if it worked
