The problem I found is that in the back office, in the gallery, when I click " Add item : to add more images, it deletes all the previous ones.

This is a bug in Lay Theme's own native gallery picker UI — not something in my element's code, and "Never modify Lay Theme itself" means I can't patch it directly.
