I was wondering if it's possible to fade in items on load? Or if it is possible, one specific text frame.

Then with javascript you could set the opacity to "1". http://laytheme.com/how-to-use.html#custom-javascript

So, there's no way other than coding it yourself. The images already fade in because that's the animation when they were loaded. But videos and texts don't fade in.
