    @arminunruh Thanks for the Minify cache tip. I realized that I had two cache plugins running at the same time. I ditched one and the site works again. Best Sarah

    you can disable the plugin using ftp: https://laytheme.com/troubleshooting.html#critical-error then your website should work again!

    sure are you sure u did the steps outlined in the right box? Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons Disable all Plugins Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code ", click "Save Changes" Now see if your problem solved itself if so: can you send your website address, /wp-admin/ username and password and a link to this topic to info@laytheme.com?

    u have more errors: [image: 1671791967227-screenshot-2022-12-23-at-11.39.12-resized.png] see just like open your javascript console: command + shift + i in chrome and then click "console" as long as you put javascript into ur website that produces errors this wont work i think

Before you post:
  1. When using a WordPress Cache plugin, disable it or clear your cache.
  2. Update Lay Theme and all Lay Theme Addons
  3. Disable all Plugins
  4. Go to Lay Options → Custom CSS & HTML, click "Turn Off All Custom Code", click "Save Changes"

This often solves issues you might run into

When you post:
  1. Post a link to where the problem is
  2. Does the problem happen on Chrome, Firefox, Safari or iPhone or Android?
  3. If the problem is difficult to explain, post screenshots / link to a video to explain it
