Any third-party plugins de-activated to see if this resolves the issue. If your WordPress Dashboard shows a warning "PHP Update required" please update your PHP version in your webhost control panel. Also within your Console readout - there is an error relating to the common shorthand ($) for jQuery - is this your Custom Code? "lay Child Theme" have you created a child theme of Lay? Dear @mirjam Is it possible that you have set two colours? one within your frontpage's gridder 'set background colour' and the other within Customize > background > background color. I see on your website that your Grid is set to #5555f1 And your website background to ##ffffff Or are you having difficulty just changing one of them - this is not working?
